APSR 2020 Kyoto Postponed to November 2021

As the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is becoming worldwide outbreak and increasingly severe, after monitoring the situation very closely, APSR has decided to postpone the 25th Congress of the APSR, which was scheduled to be held on 15-18 October 2020 in Kyoto, Japan to the fall of 2021 details as below. (Eventually, the 26th Congress of the APSR in Seoul, Korea will also be postponed to 2022.)


Date: 18 (Thu) – 21 (Sun) November 2021
Venue: Kyoto International Conference Center (same as original plan)


In Accordance with this postponement, the period of abstract submission and pre-registration shall be rescheduled. Any updated announcement including the key-date will be made on this website in a timely manner. Also, frequently asked questions about the postponement of APSR 2020 are summarized in the FAQ page. We hope you find it helpful.


Considering the role of APSR 2021 Kyoto in overcoming the tragedy of COVID-19, we will do our best to make it a meaningful and successful congress. And also continuing to monitor the situation carefully to make appropriate decisions, such as using webcasts or video calls, as necessary.
